Seasonal
"Summertime, and the living is easy" George Gershwin lyrics

Summer - the perfect time to sit back and enjoy the fruits of your labor in the garden. The sweltering temperatures of July and August may make it difficult to spend much time working in your garden, so take advantage of cooler days to attend to grooming and weed control. If your annuals have died off, you may want to replant that spot with our hardy Pansies, Calendulas or Armeria. Roses should be fertilized each month throughout the summer and Chrysanthemums should be lightly fertilized every two weeks. Be sure to watch for insect or disease damage and maintain a spraying schedule to control the problem.

Here at Caldwell Nursery, it is always our pleasure to help your garden grow. We’re well stocked and our knowledgeable sales staff is on hand to answer any questions you may have about summer gardening and planting.
